Jonathan Banks is trading in meth for books and heading to “Community” for a recurring role, but he’s not leaving crime behind. The “Breaking Bad” favorite will play Professor Buzz Hickey, an intense (of course, because he’s Jonathan Banks) professor with a mysterious background in police and military work.
Banks’ character makes his appearance in the second episode of the Season 5 when Annie (Alison Brie) enrolls in his class. “Community” returns Thursday, January 2 at 8 p.m. EST with two back-to-back episodes.
